Taking apart the administrative state will be a disaster on top of the ongoing loss of infrastructure caused by the fires in LA. How will they rebuild without the expertise of FEMA and all the experience of the unions and leadership in the federal government? What will happen if Muks and his DOGES fire all the civil servants?
Trmph does not care about his job or anyone even his billionaire friends, if the truth be told.
It is just the beginning. Who is going to taķe real responsibility? Bannon? Hesgeth….
Taking care to rebuild based on expertise is not part of Trmph’s or Muks’s methodology.
“Move fast and break things” was once an aspirational model. Now it is a dark reality.
Note: The thoughts above occurred to me while I was sitting in an endodontist’s chair for more than two hours while he explored and cleaned out all the weakend parts of one of my molars in order to save it from extraction. It was a painless procedure that years ago would have been a form of torture without the modern protocols on pain and the refinements of the drugs and instruments he used. When he started I had taken 2 iboprofen and went home without a twinge after the novocaine wore off. Bring that up to the scale of modern engineering and medicine, and structural requirements for building codes, cancer care and brain surgery…. So much is at risk with interlopers who are willing to fire air traffic controllers. As Big Bill Haywood said, all the skills of the workman are “under his cap.”
That is what it means that the president must “take care that the laws be faithfully excecuted.” Article II Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States.
Great analogy!
